We spent a day here early on our trip. We arrived fairly early and the park was already quite full. It was tough to find some chairs and we ended up with ones in the sun. Not a problem since we only used them to leave our stuff and didn't sit on them during the day. Some lines were long... more
I'll qualify that statement - It's not the best way to spend a day if you're taking children over the age of about 11. Obviously being a Disney park, it's all about the kids - there's loads to do if you're under 11, but older kids will find the slides slow and tame in comparison to Wet N' Wild. As... more
I lived in Orlando for almost a year and have visited all of the Disney Attractions. I am a huge fan of all of the parks and decided to visit the water parks, I took my husband (both of us are in our early twenties) and my younger brother 13 at the time. We went to typhoon lagoon first and... more
We loved this park!! We stayed here all day. They have things for the entire family....a youth area, a toddler area, and of course fun for adults! We tried typhoon lagoon, and only stayed 3 hours. We felt like it didn't have nearly as much as BB. The lines at TL went much more slowly. Around midday at BB, the... more
GREAT WATER PARK EXCELLENT rides the lazy river is the best one in orlando, a lot better than the poor one at aquatica which you go round without a tube. food is great and you take your own drinks and food into all disney parks as long as there no glass (which you can't do in aquatica) team boat is... more
We decided to spend one day away from the theme parks and decided to head to Blizzard Beach. It was mid March and I believe the park was in its second week of operation for the season. I highly recommend this water park for families with small children. Our two year old did not want to leave the children section.... more
After going to theme park after theme park in the sweltering heat this was a nice change. I went in August which everyone told me was a mistake, but I beg to differ. Blizzard Beach was not overly crowded and the lines went relatively quickly. The best part was I didn't feel dirty when I left which is a feeling... more
If you like water parks, you will love Blizzard Beach. Lots of slides, pools, waves, deck lounges and places to snack. They even have a drink hut for adults (not abused). We love the lazy river, which I believe is a little longer than Typhoon Lagoon, what a way to work on your tan, cool off, relax and let your... more
We love the water parks and this one of our favorites along with Typhoon Lagoon. What a great park with lots of slides and fun things for the kids of all ages to do. You can easily spend the entire day relaxing. Go early and get a great place to camp out for the day. There are some great locations... more
