We loved this water park & we'll definitely be going back. We've been to Blizzard Beach & they're both great for different reasons. At Typhoon, I especially enjoyed swimming in the shark reef (we went twice) and riding the different Crushin' Gusher slides. My husband also enjoyed body-surfing in the wave pool. They also let us bring in our own... more

We visited this park for the second time(first was 2004) and it was just as thrilling the second time around. Our son is 8 now and was able to enjoy all the slides. we had pretty much no waiting time on everything which is great with children. We also visited Aquatica and Typhoon is so much better. Cleanliness alone is... more

Visited Typhoon Lagoon on Friday, August 22nd & it was one of the highlights of our vacation! I can't emphasize enough how awesome this water park is. Due to the Tropical Storm Fay, the park was near empty all day, so we really lucked out. We did not wait more than 5 minutes for any attraction. In only 3 hours,... more

We had a great day out here - my children are 12 and 10 and so the slides were scary enough for them, much older and they would be looking for more action! Went august 16th so busy but we were able to do all slides - longest queue about 20 mins. the only thing I would say is that... more

If you don't believe me, just check the ratings online. :) Me and my husband visited in May and we loved it. The best and the most ultimate thing about this park is the wave pool. It is the biggest in the whole world and it hits you with a whopper every 90 seconds. The Crush'n'Gusher and Shark Pool were... more

We just returned from a trip to Orlando, in early August, with a 14 year old, 7 year old, 3 year old, and 2 parents. The first day, we visited Blizzard Beach, the second day we visited Typhoon Lagoon. I have visited Blizzard Beach 3 times in the past and I believe that Blizzard Beach cannot compare to Typhoon Lagoon.... more

Well we finally went to Typhoon lagoon after putting it off all summer. We had a wonderful time. We got there at nearly 11am, and had no trouble finding a spot. Thunderstorms were predicted for the day, so I suppose that kept people away. We thought we'd take a chance and perhaps avoid some crowds in the process, and we... more

Typhoon Lagoon is located in the Disney Village area and can be accessed off of I-4. There was no charge for the parking and tickets ran 152 dollars for two adults and two children. They did not offer the Florida discount for one day passes. We could have upgraded to Florida resident passes but then you can only enter after... more

I went to Typhoon Lagoon on 7/5/08 and it was very crowded. I liked that they offered free parking (although having a premium pass I didn't need one) but you have to rent a towel if you don't bring one. The cost of towel rental is $1. I know its cheap but its almost so cheap its unnecessary. Locker rentals... more

We had been to water parks elsewhere but never one in the USA. As we went in February, BB was closed for refurbishment, Aquatica was not yet opened so it was going to be Typhoon Lagoon. TL opened in 1989 and in overlooked by Mount Mayday which has a shrimp boat on top that shoots water fountains from its funnels.... more
